We are writing this letter to commend Teri White for her exemplary service as our realtor from May to August 2006.  The home we purchased in Elgin is our sixth house we've bought in 14 years, so we have had ample opportunity to work with several realtors.  We feel Teri's service so greatly exceeded our expectations that we would be remiss if we didn't let you know how pleased we are with her persistance, inviting personality, and attention to detail.

David first contacted Teri when he was still in Iraq in May 2006 after receiving orders for a transfer to Fort Sill from Washington, DC.  He asked Teri to search for acreage in the Lawton/Elgin area and to schedule appointments for us to view these properties at the end of June.

In my first conversation with Teri, I could sense her smile and her enthusiasm over the telephone and felt comfortable with her immediately.  she was undaunted when I let her know from the beginning that we would have only 72 hours to look for and put a contract on a home.  Upon our arrival in Oklahoma, Teri gave us her undivided attention for 9 hours on two consecutive days, ensuring we didn't waste any time looking at properties beyond our price range or which didn't meet our family's needs.

Teri White is the most professional and detail-oriented realtor we've encountered, yet she is also the warmest, friendliest person to deal with.  She made sure we were comfortable with our homebuying decision and then negotiated on our behalf with the sellers.  She was careful not to bother us with the minute details, calling us when the sellers had signed the contract and then walking everyone through each step to closing.  Even when we experienced disappointments and setbacks along the way with the abstract company, Teri still remained focused and determined to close in a timely manner and without further problems.

Teri never treated us like customers; rather, she welcomed our phone calls and questions, making us feel our needs were important to her and helping our transition to Oklahoma go smoothly.  Her resolve and her persistance in our home search, as well as her outgoing demeanor, have greatly influenced our decision to list our home with her when we will at some point have to leave Oklahoma for another duty station.

We truly feel that we owe our positive home-buying experience here in Elgin to Teri White.  Whenever we encounter anyone needing help in a home purchase, we are quick to mention Teri and Elgin Realty.  Had we done business with anyone else, we surely would not have accomplished so much in so little time.  Thank you, Teri, for your patience with us, and your dedication to your customers and to Elgin Realty!

At the end of our three-year tour in Germany, I contacted Julie Bridges to help us with our house hunting needs.  We were ready to come back to the states and buy our first home.  Although we were still in Germany, Julie went out of hter way to help us.  She took pictures of a house that I was interested in and e-mailed them to me.  She kept in close contact with us on our last few months in Germany with new homes that came available or just to see how thing were.  When we arrived back to the states she helped us in everyway she could, from finding us the perfect mortgage company to finding us the perfect house. 

Julie never gave up and helped us through some obstacles that had accrued.  Without Julie's dedication and loyalty we wouldn't be where we are today.  We are in a fabulous four bedroom home with two acres.  My family and I can't thank her enough for helping us get into our first home.  Julie is more than a realtor, she is a friend.  She is a very caring and dedicated realtor.  Thanks Julie!
